The Moline Foundation only funds 501(c)3 organizations and units of government within the states of Iowa and Illinois.

The application
deadlines for requesting a grant from the Moline
Foundation for 2009 are:
Friday, January 29, 2010
Thursday, April 15, 2010
Thursday, September 30, 2010
All grant requests are due by 4:00 p.m. in the Moline Foundation offices (817 11th Avenue, Moline) the day of the deadline OR postmarked that day.

Your agency or non-profit organization as a potential grant recipient should plan your request for the entire year as not more than one request will be reviewed each calendar year. Please coordinate this requirement with your staff if more than one person is writing grants for your organization.

If you need additional information about the grant request process, please send an e-mail to molinefoundation@qconline.com. Phone calls are not encouraged unless they are of a necessary and urgent nature.

The following materials should be included in your grant request:
- A Letter of Application outlining your potential use of funds (10 copies). Please state the name, address, phone, email and contact name of your organization, its mission, and names and addresses of your Board of Directors. No pictures, reports, maps, or additional material should be included
- Project budget (10 copies) or can be included in context of letter
- Balance sheet (What is a balance sheet?) (10 copies - the most recent "snapshot" of your agency's assets, liabilities) (What is a financial statement?)
You do NOT need to include a copy of your 501(c)3 IRS determination letter UNLESS
- You have never been funded by the Moline Foundation or
- You were funded previous to January 2001 or
- The tax status of your organization has recently changed.
