Children's Therapy Center of the Quad Cities

The Children’s Therapy Center is an organization that can make anyone smile.  It is full of color, light and everything that makes you want to celebrate life – through the eyes of a child.

Children’s Therapy Center was given a grant from The Moline Foundation in May of 2006 for approximately $1900.  They used the funds to purchase rehabilitation equipment used in their physical therapy area.  The equipment purchased allows children to use their arms and legs more effectively.  They purchased two Kaye Walkers and one Supine Stander.

Children’s Therapy Center Executive Director George McDoniel explains how having these pieces of equipment are extremely valuable to their organization.  Having two walkers allows families to utilize the equipment during their therapy sessions, but it also allows a family to take one home if the child is capable – which can be a huge money saver.

Children’s Therapy Center is always looking for ways to save their patients and families money.  They offer at-home therapy in the areas of occupational, speech and physical therapy, which allows families to save gas money and transportation to get to the center.  They also offer great payment plans.

Children’s Therapy Center is an organization that the Quad Cities should be proud to have, and The Moline Foundation is very proud to represent.  They are leading the state in designated therapists, they are helping advance pediatric therapy treatments everyday, and they are putting smiles on the faces of children and their families.
