What is a Grant ?
Community Foundations such as The Moline Foundation are grantmaking public charities dedicated to improving the lives of people in a defined local geographic area.
They bring together the financial resources of individuals, families, and businesses to support effective nonprofits in their communities.
Primarily, Community Foundations give grants to established 501c3 organizations.
Each year The Moline Foundation offers two grant cycles, Spring and Fall for capital and programs expenses.

Scope of Grants:
Grants are made to non-profit agencies in The Moline Foundation service area which includes the Quad Cities region of Scott County, Iowa, and Rock Island, Mercer, Henry, Warren, Henderson and McDonough counties, Illinois
Grants are not generally available for those agencies and institutions primarily funded through tax support.
Non-Profits are eligible to receive one grant in a twelve-month period.
